Biography

Dr. Andrew Halloran is the Director of Chimpanzee Care at Save the Chimps. As a primatologist, Andrew has spent the past 20 years working to improve and save the lives of chimpanzees––not only chimps in captivity here in the U.S. but chimps in the wild. He also works as a research affiliate for the Conservation Society of Sierra Leone, where he has spent time studying chimp vocalizations, assessing the way different habitats can influence chimpanzees communication. He has dedicated his life to these primates and his care of the chimps at Save the Chimps is supported by a wealth of knowledge & a huge heart.
